Frequently Asked Questions

Does WASchedule work without keeping my browser open?
Currently, WASchedule requires WhatsApp Web to be open in your browser at send time. The extension handles the scheduling and triggers sending automatically — but it does need your browser running. A fully cloud-based send option is on the roadmap.
Can I schedule messages to contacts not saved in my phone?
Yes — this is available on the Personal and Builder plans via the dashboard. You can schedule to any phone number in international format (+1 234 567 8900), even if they're not saved as a contact.
What happens if a message fails to send?
Failed messages are logged in your send history with an error reason. Common causes are WhatsApp Web not being open, or the contact being unavailable. You can retry from the dashboard.
Can my team share templates and notes?
Yes — on the Personal plan, all team members share one workspace. Templates and contact notes are visible to everyone on the team. Team members each need their own Personal plan subscription; only the API user needs Builder.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Billing in your dashboard and click Cancel Plan. Your access continues until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees, no runaround.
Is WASchedule affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta?
No. WASchedule is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp or Meta in any way.
Which browsers are supported?
The WASchedule extension currently supports Google Chrome and any Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc). Firefox and Safari support is planned.
